Impact
Jack is now 88 living in Brooklyn, New York with his wife (also a survivor) Ruth. They travel together visiting schools and educate kids about the Holocaust which impacts the history of the Holocaust. He impacted America because after the Americans liberated him from Dachau he came to America in 1948 and enlisted in our Army, he then fought in the Korean War in 1949. He and his wife have two sons and four grandchildren he thinks that he survived all of those horrors so he can inspire and bring his message to people. His wife wrote a book about her story called "Destined to live: A True Story of a Child in the Holocaust" and Jack has a biography written about him called "Prisoner B-3087" Written By: Alan Gratz.
